Local snack in Tainan (Coffin board)

There are many kinds of snacks in Taiwan, such as pearl milk tea, douhua and oyster omester ...etc.


My favorite snack is Coffin board, it is a special food in Tainan.


It was made of a slice of hollow toast, filled with chicken liver in earlier time.

It looks like western food, because the inventor is a western meal cook.

Now there are many kinds of flavors to choose, like chicken meat, beef and vegetable.
